13 Benefits of Green Tea - by Arina Nikitina. This article outlines just a few of the potential benefits of making Green Tea a part of your daily diet or supplement program.
Green Tea Extract - Boost Immunity and Improve Circulation.
Green Tea Extract [Immune, Circulatory] contains catechins, powerful antioxidants that are 200 times stronger than vitamin E at neutralizing free radicals molecules that attack lipids in the brain and other tissues. Green tea also possesses antimicrobial properties (immune system support), helps normalize vascular blood clotting and total cholesterol, and supports healthy kidney function. Each capsule contains 400 mg of standardized green tea extract (80% polyphenols, 60% catechins, 30% EGCG). Three capsules equals 10 cups of liquid green tea.

*******Bonus Health Tips*******
Tea polyphenols are more bioavailable when delivered as encapsulated green tea extract than when taken as a traditional beverage.
Green tea, traditionally consumed in Asia, has been the focus of much research in recent years, associating its powerful antioxidant compounds with anti-cancer activity, anti-bacterial effects and heart health. Flavanol absorption is enhanced when tea polyphenols are administered as a green tea supplement in capsule form.
GREEN TEA FOR ARTHRITIS RELIEF
If you are suffering from any form of arthritis, drinking green tea may help. Compounds found in green tea have been shown to reduce inflammation in inflammatory arthritis and are protective to joint tissues. In studies with test animals, no toxic effects are seen with the use of these substances.
It is most likely the catechins (beneficial substances found in green tea) that assist the arthritic patient by reducing inflammation and slowing cartilage breakdown.
Green Tea Bulls-Eye Its Target
Green tea extract is able to target cancer cells while leaving healthy cells alone, adding further support to its potential as a cancer prevention agent.
Researchers previously found that the active ingredient in green tea, epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG), blocks the growth of bladder tumors in test animals. It also inhibits the development of an independent blood supply that cancers develop that allows them to grow and spread.
